Heather Scholl is a mixed-media painter whose work combines stylized realism and abstraction to explore resilience, memory, and transformation. She earned her BFA in Fine Art and Illustration from the University of Kansas and has worked as a fine artist, illustrator, and instructor, teaching at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle and at institutions in Seoul, South Korea. A member of the Los Angeles Art Association since 2006, her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally. Now based in Chicago, Scholl continues to expand her evolving body of work, creating layered paintings that connect the personal with the universal.
